My name is Shaun Taylor Bruce, but people just call me “Shaun.” Unless I’m not in the room, in which case they might call me “Shaun Bruce.”

I’m an advertising creative with over ten years experience in new product launches and brand positioning for packaged goods, beverages, retail, hospitality, and finance.

Before discovering advertising, I earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Colorado, with an emphasis on newspaper and creative writing. Through a series of decisions I can’t fully explain, I dedicated myself to art direction and design in the creative program at the University of Texas, where I earned my master’s in advertising.

Eventually, I became a full-fledged professional in the world of New York advertising. I have loved every moment since. Even the ones I spent curled up on the floor, crying softly.
